HONESTY. EXCELLENCE. ACCOUNTABILITY. VALUE.
WELCOME TO UNIVERSAL APPLIANCE AND KITCHEN CENTER
It’s more than just the price. It’s about the people. The knowledge. The follow up. It’s about creating an IMMERSIVE experience like no other.
Appliances have developed into a pure commodity today. Typically, any large appliance store and all the major retailers have competitive pricing, but must adhere to stringent pricing standards set by the appliance manufacturers, known as UMRP "Unilateral Minimum Retail Price.” This means appliance stores offering the best possible prices is usually a given. What is not is the showroom choice. The customer experience. The follow through. The installation. Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center aims to differentiate itself by providing the largest brand selection in Southern California, and creating a unique immersive shopping experience.
More than just an appliance outlet, or even a premier retailer of the best brands in home and kitchen appliances, decorative plumbing fixtures and outdoor grills, Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center is a purveyor of LIFESTYLE Solutions.
Explore and discover here, and in one of our appliance center locations, why we say it’s about delivering a WOW experience EVERY TIME.

The area that is now Tarzana was occupied by Spanish missionaries and settlers, who established the San Fernando Mission. When the area was later absorbed, during the Mexican American war, the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo ceded the land to the United States in 1848. Under U.S rule, a series of cattle ranges were established before investors took over to turn the grazing land into a large scale wheat farming operation.
